Your Mission:

As a "Production Planner", you will be the linchpin in ensuring continuous supply and optimal performance for your assigned portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:

• Production and portfolio ownership: taking full responsibility for the production planning (manufacturing or packaging) of an assigned portfolio of products (brand and/or specific production/packaging line).
• Supply Chain performance: ensuring supply assurance and driving supply chain performance for your assigned portfolio.
• Stakeholder representation: representing the plant planning team in various global and regional forums.
• Inventory management: actively monitoring and managing inventory shelf-life and expiry dates to minimize write-offs and actively improving processes to prevent obsolescence.
• Product launches: planning and implementing new launches and major product changes to support business unit growth.
• Problem solving: performing root cause analysis of inventory deviations versus targets and inventory drivers, and defining actionable improvement plans.
• Communication hub: serving as the key point of contact for supply issues, resolution plans, and inventory questions for various internal and external supply chain stakeholders.
• Forecasting & budgeting: analyzing forecasts and developing accurate production volume budgets, ensuring alignment with available production capacity.
• Project contribution: contributing to the successful completion of various projects and efficiently managing your own time to meet agreed targets.

What you'll need to bring

To excel in this dynamic and critical role, you should possess:

• Experience: a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a planning role.
• System knowledge: working knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Kynaxis, etc.).
• Planning expertise: solid knowledge of production and capacity planning methodologies.
• Analytical skills: a sharp ability to observe patterns and trends in data, determine the root cause of issues, and draw proper, data-driven conclusions.
• Interpersonal acumen: the skill to develop effective relationships with multiple stakeholders and quickly grasp and understand complex situations involving many moving parts.
• Language proficiency: fluent proficiency, both written and verbally, in Dutch and English is mandatory.
